“Fast Track” is Ridgefield’s streamlined process to welcome, encourage, support and assist developers and businesses that want to relocate, build or expand in Ridgefield. The program speeds up the process for development proposals to be submitted and reviewed, and for approved projects to be built. It also makes it easier for developers to initially bring their proposals to the Town’s attention, and to navigate the required formal channels for approval.

The “Fast Track” program includes a 24/7 hotline for businesses with development plans, a pledge to respond promptly to any bona-fide development proposal by scheduling a meeting and a town tour, a no-cost feasibility assessment of the proposed development, facilitating communication between the developer and key Town officials, and active advocacy throughout the approval process.
